Cookie policy
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the veridyn.eu website uses, and for what purpose.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small data file stored in your browser that enables the essential operation of the website (e.g. keeping you logged in). Some settings are stored in the browser's local storage (localStorage), which serves a purpose similar to that of a cookie.
2. Which cookies do we use?
Veridyn uses only strictly necessary cookies. There are currently no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Session cookie (strictly necessary) | Identifying the logged-in session | Until the browser is closed |
| vpass (maintenance access) | Cookie (strictly necessary) | Access during maintenance mode | Up to 7 days |
| theme preference | localStorage (local storage) | Remembering the light/dark appearance | Until you delete it |
3. Consent
Because the cookies above are strictly necessary for providing the service, under the rules on electronic communications no prior consent is required for them. Should we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will obtain your explicit prior consent for them (via a cookie banner), and this policy will be updated.
4. Managing and disabling cookies
In your browser settings you can view, delete and disable cookies. Please note that if strictly necessary cookies are disabled, login and certain functions of the Service will not work properly. The theme preference stored in localStorage can be removed by clearing the browser's local storage.
5. External providers
The website may load fonts from an external provider (Google Fonts). Apart from this, we currently do not embed any third-party tracking elements.
6. Amendments
We update this policy as needed; the version in force at any given time is available on this page. Related information: Privacy Notice.
